Many of us, but not enough, monitor the state of the trails.

If you like walking, mountain biking and cycling, and have a little spare time, you can help us monitor and improve the trails.
You just have to test the trails that you sponsor twice a year.
The table below will help you find the important maintenance points.
Your suggestions are welcome.

The sponsor of a walk agrees to…

verify the maintenance of a trail

the state of the marks
the visibility of the marks
the intervals of the marks: is it possible to find the way without a map?
the state of the trail: is it feasible with hiking boots?
Is any trimming necessary?
the width of the trail: is any clearing necessary?
the cleanliness of the trail and its surroundings
the state of the bins
any other points requiring attention

What materiel is required?

Use the 1:10,0000 map as a reference for your observations. Locate the places that need maintenance using numbers and note the corresponding observations on the back.(a free map is provided)

How often?

Ideally, the complete trail should be visited at least once a year. Twice is even better.
If someone makes a comment about a particular location, you will need to verify it.
Comments and observations should be sent to the Hiking Centre, who will in turn notify the appropriate services according to the origin of the remarks.
