Through activities involving tourism, agriculture, the environment or culture, the Mid-Ourthe Local Action Group aims for sustainable economic development that respects a balance between the preservation and management of natural and cultural resources. The constitution of a network of public as well as private partners is what makes its strength. Its Strategic Development Plan (“Plan de Développement Stratégique” or “PDS”), selected in November 2002 by the Walloon Government in the framework of the Leader + initiative, includes 6 projects which are the fruit of the collaboration between local and on-location authorities.
